| My wife and I have now rented three villas from Rich, twice on Saint Martin and once on St Lucia, and we have also rented villas from others on islands that Rich does not cover and we can tell you that with out a doubt Rich is the best to work with. Just knowing that Rich takes the time and effort to visit all of the villas on a regular basis to make sure that they are not falling into disrepair and that disruptive construction is not going on next door is a great relief. Most competitors are just happy renting the villa, Rich goes the extra mile to make sure that you not only rent a nice villa but that your vacation will be enjoyable and relaxing. When traveling to St Lucia, Rich spent a considerable amount of time working with us to explain the unique characteristics of each of the villas we were considering, where they were located and what was around each of them. Not only does he spend this time up front but even after the sale, Rich takes the time to contact the on island rep just to make sure everything is going okay during your stay. The only time my wife and I would even consider renting a villa from someone else is when he doesn't cover an island we are interested, otherwise Rich is our first choice! Brian & Amy B |

Hi, just getting back from one of the finest villas and vacation we have ever had!!! What a great and thoughtfully designed and managed estate...come on thirty towels in each bathroom!!!!! Thanks for your help and advise we will be returning soon. Nick and Lele were great.

We had a fabulous time! Your recommendation of Villa #1, Emerald Beach, was right on. The villa was spacious and nice, the grounds were maintained beautifully, Pam and Maize were a Godsend, and the Caribbean can't be beat. We did a couple of excursions that were fun and visited the fishmarket frequently. But mostly we relaxed enjoying the accommodations and the sea. Terrie R. |
After much research, we found Rich through searching the web, and boy are we glad we did! After an initial booking disaster through another party, we decided to take the risk and try booking a villa again in Barbados. While stumbling through the internet trying to plan a family vacation, we came across Rich Westman and the Heart of the Caribbean web-page accidentally. What a wonderful surprise!!!
Through working with Rich, we had all of our questions answered and no surprises waiting for us when we arrived in Barbados. It was everything he told us it would be. (He encouraged us to rent a car, but we were reluctant since we had to drive on the left, etc...we took his advise and we were so pleased that we did. We were able to see so much more of the island by driving ourselves.) His first-hand knowledge of the villa and island was extremely helpful in ensuring a successful vacation. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Our recent stay in St. Martin at villa La Perla was a total delight. The villa was wonderful and the beachfront site was worth every dollar spent. This was the first time we had dealt with your company and it will certainly not be the last. Your service was excellent and the service provided on the island by your associates was first class. My family of eight wanted to spend a week somewhere as our annual reunion. After success renting vacation homes elsewhere, we knew we would rent again. We are not hotel people. We like to cook, we very much enjoy privacy and there's something about having your own driveway on vacation that makes all expenses worthwhile. |

"How caring is a typical booking agent - probably not as caring as Rich Westman and Heart of the Caribbean has been to us. During our 15 visits to SXM, my wife and I have rented several different villas through Rich and HOTC. I remember one occasion in particular a couple of years ago. We were determined to rent a villa that Rich was not personally familiar with. However, he was happy to assist us with our choice. After a day at the Villa Escapade, we received a personal call from Rich just to make sure that we were pleased with our choice and that all was OK. His concern and caring really impressed us and our guests that made the trip with us.
