Location:

Canefield is a Tortola villa vacation rental located hillside about 1500 feet above sea level, in Greenbank Estate, the northwest end of Tortola. Drive to nearby Brewers Bay beach ( 5 minute drive) or Cane Garden Bay beach (about a 10 minute drive.)

Style:

Canefield House is located on 10 lush garden acres in a very private park-like setting. This estate home was built on grounds where sugar cane was once grown during plantation days. A staircase descends through gardens from the parking area to Canefield's main pavilion. The two-storied main pavilion features a gourmet kitchen, powder room, and a formal dining area for eight surrounded by french doors which open out to a second alfresco dining patio under a garden gazebo. The main pavilion's lower level features a great room that is outfitted with satellite TV, a wet bar with mini-fridge, and comfortable furnishings. A curved staircase leads down to Canefield's pool and stone-tiled sun deck. On the far side of the main pavilion is the large air conditioned master bedroom cottage with a king sized bed, a sitting area, an office nook, and a large bath with a walk-in closet, dressing area and a generous stone-and-tile shower. French doors open to a completely private covered terrace overlooking green hills. On the opposite side of the main pavilion is a walkway threaded through gardens to the air-conditioned guest bedroom pavilion, offering the Blue Suite and the Green Suite. The Blue Suite features satellite TV, an alcove with two built-in single daybeds, perfect for a small child or two, a large walk-in closet and spacious tiled bath. A bank of french doors open out to a covered terrace of native stone. The terrace is shared by the adjacent Green Suite, which features a queen bed, a day bed, and private bath.

2 27-inch satellite TVs with DVD players (in Great Room, with surround-sound, and in Blue Suite), Bose Wave CD player/radio in master suite, CD player, radio, A/C will be added in all bedrooms, DSL line and Wi-Fi for your laptop, answering machine, HP printer/copier; gourmet kitchen, wet bar with mini-fridge with ice maker (in Great Room), charcoal grill, safe for valuables, full-size baby crib (with advance request, please), UV water purification system, automatic generator (generator runs everything in house except A/C units and pool heater), dishwasher, laundry.

Comments:

Pool size: 35' x 15' x 3' - 8' deep (kidney shaped). Pool may be heated by advance request for an additional fee of $500 per week.
Maid service: 2 days per week
Children welcome with a notarized liability waiver required for all children under 8 years.
No Smoking is permitted in the villa.
