Apple Bay: Includes Little Apple Bay, Carrot Bay, and Cappoons Bay. Located just over the hill from Long Bay. Popular surfing and swimming beaches. Home to the famous Bomba's Surfside Shack and the Full Moon Parties. Facilities include several bars, restaurants and hotels.

Brewer's Bay Beach: Located around the eastern point of Cane Garden Bay. Reefs protect shoreline and make for some of the best snorkeling on the island.

Cane Garden Bay: Gently curved sandy beach sheltered from heavy winds. A lively and popular anchorage and swimming beach. Facilities include several bars and restaurants.

Lambert Bay: Also known as Elizabeth Bay. Beautiful sandy beach with palm trees and fine white sand. One of the widest beaches on the island. Popular with residents and visitors alike. Facilities include the Lambert Beach Resort.

Long Bay: A mile-long stretch of white sand beach with good swimming on the western end. Facilities include a resort and restaurant.

Smuggler's Cove: Located at the western-most end of Tortola . A secluded and sheltered lovely stretch of white sandy beach with clear and calm water. Snorkeling is good off the points of the cove. Facilities include a snack bar.

Josiah's Bay Beach: A long and wide ribbon of sand makes it an ideal spot for sunbathing, although there can be an undertow in the water at times. Winter season brings out the surfers when waves are at their peak. Facilities include a beach bar and near by restaurants.
